There is plenty to do!

Landgoed Rhederoord is located on the Veluwe, near Arnhem and adjacent to the Veluwezoom National Park. There is plenty to do on and around the estate. You can of course enjoy yourself cycling and walking through the magnificent nature in your own way, or you can make use of one of the routes. But we can also organise all kinds of activities for you and your party. Would you like to know more about the possibilities?

Do you prefer to go off on your own? A few tips:

• The Veluwezoom National Park is impressive in all seasons. There are beautiful and magnificent panoramas from the Posbank and with luck you will see some wildlife. In August, the moors turn a beautiful purple colour, this is highly recommended!
• Veluwe Active is situated in the Veluwe Visitor Centre and this is the perfect starting point for a walking or cycling trip. At this Tourist Office you can obtain information and routes, but you can also hire various (electric) cycles and scooters.
• The Veluwezoom is well-known for its many castles and country estates. Rosendael Castle is really worth the effort – also have a glance at the famous folies.
• Dive into 8 million litres of water, go on an adventure in the covered jungle and admire the vultures in the desert; experience 45 hectares of zoological gardens at Burgers’ Zoo!
• The past comes alive in the Nederlands Openluchtmuseum (Dutch Open Air Museum). Step back through time and enjoy this day out.
• In the Kröller-Müller Museum you can find the second largest Van Gogh collection in the world: almost 90 paintings and around 180 drawings. It is situated in the Hoge Veluwe National Park, where you can enjoy beautiful nature.
